This year, family company Kreling Chrysanthemums won the Horticultural Entrepreneur Prize. This award is given to businesses in the horticulture sector who excel in entrepreneurship

Wie sierteeltproducten verkoopt die niet worden afgerekend via Royal FloraHolland, betaalt hier tóch een percentage over aan de coöperatie. Dit noemen we BVO: buiten de veiling om. Maar wat is het precies? Waarom bestaat BVO? En hoe gaan kwekers ermee om? Tineke van Berkel (manager kwaliteit, regelgeving en registratie bij JM van Berkel), Albert Kiep (mede-eigenaar bij Kiepflower) en Walter Straathof (adviseur Cooperative Affairs bij Royal FloraHolland) vertellen er meer over.

De toekomst is niet straks, maar nu. Dat geldt zéker voor ondernemers. Want wil je die toekomst goed tegemoet gaan, dan is nú actie nodig. Hoe pak je dat aan? Niemand heeft immers een glazen bol. Floor Tesselaar has owned Top Orchid with her brother Joost since 2020. Grandpa Willem founded the company in 1947. Father Peter, still part of the company, initiated a major sustainability and innovation drive some 15 years ago. In addition to her work for Top Orchid, Floor is president of the FPC pot orchid and a member of the Youth Council.

The first Floriculture Trend Report has been published. Its purpose is to identify developments and trends from our industry. Important information not only for you - our members, our own cooperative - but also for society. With the results of this Trend Report on Floriculture, Royal FloraHolland seeks to proactively inform the media about developments in our sector. The results are based on responses from growers and buyers.  Here are the key points:

Ik ben nu ruim negen maanden voorzitter van de Ledenraad en ik ben onder de indruk hoeveel impact we kunnen maken als Ledenraad in de zogenaamde driehoek met de Directie en de Raad van Commissarissen. Een van de doelen die ik mijzelf had gesteld bij mijn start.
